Earth Flavors was produced by writer, audio documentarian, and
singer-songwriter Carla Seidl in 2014 and 2015. It was designed to celebrate local
foods and food culture — and promote creative, delicious, earth-friendly cooking — by profiling
local ingredients and the people who grow them. Carla's own cooking philosophy might be called bricolage
improvising within the limits of what is available. And look around — there's so much available right in Western North Carolina!
